What is a google search console?
Google Search Console provides information to help you increase the visibility ofyour search pages. You can see how many impressions your page has generated in search engines by keyword or page.
You can also track click-through rates for yours from search engine results pages. You can also set up an XML sitemap to help Google crawl your pages or check crawling errors.
What You Can Track in Search Console?
1. Performance
The Google Search Console Search performance report gives
you useful information about how your website works in Google Search.
- Queries: Keywords searched by users in Google search
- Impressions: The number of links on your site that appear in Google search results
- Clicks: The number of clicks that a user visited your property from the Google search results page.
- Position: The average ranking of the top results on a site.
- Click-through-rate (CTR): The number of clicks divided by the number of impressions.
2. Internal Links
This section will help you understand the links on your site
and how Google recognizes them. In particular, it differs from other devices in
that it shows how Google Bot is blocking your site. In this section, you need to
find the best or best-performing external page.
3. Links to Your Site
Google uses your website content via links, which is a key
component of Google's search algorithm. You should pay attention to this value
because it means that the time the content is linked externally (or linked
to other content) affects SEO and ranking. This section will help you
understand who links to you, who frequently links you, and anchor text that
links other websites to your content.
4. Mobile Usability
You must have a website that uses cell phones. Google has
come down to stopping sites that are not mobile-friendly in their search
results, which is definitely bad news for you if your site is not indexed for
mobile. If Google finds any usage issues on your site, you'll find them here.!
5. Top Keyword queries
Of all the reports in the Google Search Console, this is the
most important. This performance statement lists the most important questions
Google has asked search engines. Additionally, the report shows the current
ranking of each topic, with more clicks and comments, indicating that you
clicked on the website you received for each key question.
