Does Jio have plans to launch its own search engine?
Trust Jio has announced its website
based on the Chromium Blink engine called Jio pages. According to the company,
the browser comes with support for emoji writing, integration, and support for
eight Indian languages, including Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Telugu,
Malayalam, Kannada, and Bengali.
It comes with a personalized home
screen that allows users to select search results from Google, Bing, MSN, Yahoo
or Duck Duck Go when the search engine starts. They can also "lock"
any website on the home screen for quick access.
Users will have the option to switch
between different color themes or dark modes if they wish. As for content,
JioPages alerts you to "important or of interest to the user" topics.
Display customized content for the user based on language, topic, and region. A
new feature called IT Cards displays important numbers, trends, symbols, or
headlines as clickable banner ads. Users can simply tap on them and get all
related information.
Concerned about web security and data
protection, the browser focuses on private data and gives users full control
over their data, the source said.
Users will have the option to edit
their personal content according to their state preferences.

have the option of setting a four-digit security number or a fingerprint-based
on the number entering the `incognito mode.
